About Floodsack
Floodsack is a single use flexible storage bag floatable above water surfaces for an extended period of time, allowing your belongings to remain buoyant above water in a flood.
What is it?
Top view
Top (section) view
A buoyant force is produced due to a rapid gas-generating chemical reaction, allowing it to remain afloat above water. It comprises of a dual chambered storage bag, incorporating buoy into the floodsack as an additional layer to the storage compartment. When in use, the airtight-sealed gas compartment inflates to an optimal volume, while the storage compartment remains in tact.
How does it work?
How do I use it?
Everyone panics during a flood. Don’t worry, we got you!
This is why our engineers have took it into their own hands to ease the use of the Floodsack.
Follow these steps to promptly protect your valuables in an emergency.
Step 1: Unroll it!
Each and every Floodsack unit comes folded and rolled up in a cardboard box. Remove it from the box and unroll before using.
Step 2: Store your belongings.
Each Floodsack only has ONE opening for storage. Place your belongings & valuables inside the storage compartment via the opening.
Step 3: Peel the liner.
Attached along the opening of the storage compartment on every Floodsack is a single-use waterproof adhesive seal tape. Peel the liner off the tape and seal the Floodsack. Support the bag with your non-dominant hand while peeling the liner off
Step 4: Puncture the water sachet inside!
Inside every Floodsack is a water sachet. To initiate the gas reaction needed to make the Flodosack buoyant, simply puncture the water sachet inside by gripping it tightly. You should be able to feel the water sachet burst as it is the softest content you can grip.
Note: Your less dominant hand should be holding the top of the Floodsack while your dominant hand is gripping the water sachet.
Step 5: Your Floodsack is ready for use!
Watch your Floodsack inflate to its optimal volume within a minute. You can then place it on the water surface. There is an eyelet ring on the Floodsack for you to tie a rope/string onto it. You may then anchor the Floodsack with the other end of the rope/string to a permanent structure.
Why us?
Floodsack is an affordable and easy to use device that is accessible to all consumers. We are determined to cater to all.
Floodsack is highly waterproof and can withhold your belongings for up to two weeks in a flood. The prior storage of floodsack requires little to no maintenance. Just keep it from sunlight and you’re set!
We understand the importance of environmental sustainability. Hence, Floodsack aims to strictly use recyclable plastic and eco-friendly chemicals in its production.
